Feminists don't want to compete. If that's what they wanted to do, then that's what they'd do: they'd just compete and say nothing.
Instead they are very loud about being discriminated against, and so on.
By mistake I attended a meeting a young professional women about, basically, "women in the workplace, and how to get ahead". It was a bunch of 20-something feminists complaining that they're not the CEO of their company.
Well, guess what, I'm a 30-something male and I'm not the CEO of my company either...
Promotion means something different for them. They are obsessed with status and self-esteem.
This is something I've noticed.
You sometimes meet ambitious guys (to some extent I could be considered one of them). But they're not 'in your face' ambitious, as in posting stupid motivational memes on LinkedIn. It's not that you should be ashamed about being ambitious, but usually you don't claim that you're going to achieve something, and once you do you don't need to brag.
But apparently it's now OK for women to be unashamedly, outspokenly ambitious.
I've noticed two patterns: super ambitious, 'you go girl', 20 or 30-something girls. And then I've also met super successful, VP, CxO or MD-level women in their 40 to 50s. Most are single. And stay for long after-hours meetings because they have nothing else to do (I do the same, but I'm a 20-something guy with no kids *yet*).
Maybe they're super passionate about their career. But I don't think one can be passionate about HR, accounting or operations management...
It's sad, really.
flame me if you must, but i think the truth of it is, most single unmarried and childless women in their 40s or 50s wish they did things differently when they were young. same with guys.
to state the obvious, there is a price to pay for going against biology. our overdeveloped prefrontal cortex doesn't divorce us from that entirely.

Sure, but female beauty is more beneficial in a few ways.
1. Women are not expected to initiate. Thus a beautiful women will have a vastly better sense of her prospects (and her attractiveness) than an attractive man.
2. Contrary to the Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, men are forgiving than women in their evaluations of the opposite sex. i.e. their ratings follow a bell curve. Women consider almost all men unattractive (date: http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/your-looks-and-online-dating/). And casually, if we look at some of the requirements women have (e.g. must by 5'10, aka. taller than >50% of all men), they are often restrictive.
3. Very few men can get by exclusively on looks. There are a few models or actors that fit the bill here, that's about it. A beautiful woman can marry a rich man, or take on one of many pretty people jobs that monetize her attractiveness.
White women are objectively beautiful especially when young and are able to establish themselves at the top of any social hierarchy at that age. They also develop nice, wholesome personalities due perhaps to being liked by men across any spectrum you select. Given that white women do not hold as much political power as other groups, they are also thought of as less threatening by most groups. I think their value will only increase in future especially because nonwhite men will keep putting them more and more on a pedestal.

A lot of women do not want kids. Many are perfectly happy that way. I will never regret my choice of doing something else instead of having kids. This us called possibility to choose and it is definitely not sad. The contrary is
