It is a technical component of IQ in some sense. Needless to say that two of the mentioned above companies made him offers.

    These firms are more interested in testing whether you quickly solve brain teaser problems. Even if you're an expert in PhD research level math subjects, they don't care. They only want people who are really good at undergrad level puzzle maths.
