   The argument still holds regardless of population ratios. The SA gov is making the claim that those lands were stolen and need to be reverted back. The same argument can be made about the native Americans specially given that even now their land rights are limited by the federal government

   Native Americans in US: <1% population. Blacks in SA: >80%.
   Native American full voting rights in US: 1924. Blacks in SA full voting rights: 1993.
   Native American:White income in US: 67% Black to white income in SA: 12%.

   Can’t wait for the native Americans to start getting support from the D party to start taking white American land by force without compensation

    This also assumes that "native Americans" are some sort of monolithic political and racial entity that have a shared history and shared politics. The reality is very different.

    In my state, home to historic and some large American Indian populations, the reservations are mostly on each tribe's historically occupied lands, with a couple of exceptions involving more recent arrivals that migrated to where they are by choice.

    It's strange that South Africans won't learn from the neighboring Zimbabwe what a disaster their land reform was. Zimbabwe went from being one of the richest to one of the poorest in Africa in a matter of a decade or two.
