No. You are all wrong. Vietnamese culture is the best!
Why Japanese and Korean cultures are so superior to Chinese?

A combination of isolationism and the Great Firewall. Lack of Chinese "culture" producers for a global market + Chinese content siloed into their own media platforms (Chinese versions of Youtube, Twitter, Netflix, etc).
It is remarkable that a nation of that size can have so little presence/footprint on western internet. Keep in mind, this is a population of 1.4b we are talking about (most do not bother using a vpn). Not sure if many people outside of China understand modern Chinese culture. China seems to exists in its own dimension of the internet, at least for now.

China-oriented culture in Japan is mostly highly-civilized and sophisticated. On the other hand, Japanese own culture is barbaric, totalitarian and brutal: google Seppuku, Kamikaze, and Ijime. Japanese should be thankful to China for educating them as human beings.
An ignorant Chinese person embarrassing herself? Sushi and many other high-end Japanese cuisines are some of the most sophisticated culture and way more sophisticated than any of Chinese cuisines. If you observe people in both countries, it’s easy to tell who are more barbaric.

“ The Cultural Revolution was characterized by violence and chaos. Death toll estimates vary widely, with roughly 250,000 to 20 million people perishing during the Revolution,[2] a number comparable to various disasters in China by death toll. Beginning with the Red August of Beijing, massacres took place nationwide, including the Guangxi Massacre, in which massive cannibalism also occurred;[3][4] the Inner Mongolia incident; the Guangdong Massacre; the Yunnan Massacres; and the Hunan Massacres.”

OP here. Amazing how I made some low-brow trawl a year ago and you guys still discuss it.
-Eurobro“I think things are looking up in China though since Japan and Korea are suffering under American occupation while the chinese mainland is proudly independent”
a funny comment

Your view towards modern China is understandable, but you can't deny ancient Chinese civilization's long-term impact on Japan which is almost omnipresent. Regarding the cuisine comparison, sure you are entitled to your own view, but if you ask around you'll find tons of Japanese people who can appreciate the exquisiteness of both chuuka and washoku.
