I'm a free rider, so my lesson is that being the son of a famous finance guy (or his coauthor) doesn't protect you if you commit fraud.

LOL. This guy is losing his sheeeet, thinking the poster was referring to SK's CV on OU website. Look, SK and AB made mistakes and paid a big price. t normal circumstances they would pass mid- review easily. Get over it. It's not their fault your papers were and will be rejected at RFS.

It's quite evident that AY has some pretty severe personality issues that have contributed to this state. Those issues might be able to be compensated for with sufficient brilliance, but he's not exactly the brightest star in the sky, either.
They did not pay a price. They got an A pub out of faking their data. If they paid a price, the RFS would be retracted. It is not retracted, so they were rewarded for their "mistake".

It seems easier to be productive when you cut corners. I think people would cut them slack and let them move on if they simply admitted to it. Hard to forgive and forget when the keep lying about what happened. Since they continue to lie about those papers, why should I believe them about their current papers. Due to the lies, the fraud is continuing.
