   The legal system allows for SOME perps to re enter. You assault someone and break their arm? You go to jail and get a chance to re enter society. You shoot someone in cold blood to rob them ? you go away for life (hell even these people are let out after 25ish years in many cases).

   I am open to arguments that the punishment for SK/AB was not severe enough (though I think it was plenty) - but if you do not agree that crimes of different magnitude deserve punishments of different magnitude, there is no point in discussion.

   So what? The legal system allows for perpetrators to re-enter society after serving their punishment. So should the academic system for James Hunton. Let it go.

   Hunton straight up made up primary data, not just once, but dozens of times in effectively his entire body of work.

   I'll tell you why. Because my father is not an editor and I write better papers but have a much harder time publishing. And I don't fake results BTW.
