The Application Process for the 2021-2022 World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (WB, IFC & MIGA) has been confirmed on the WB website.
It will reopen June 15 – July 15 for all profiles and from August 16 – September 20 for IFC and MIGA profiles only.

The website says: On the application, candidates must select the institution that they believe best aligns with their skillset (the World Bank, IFC or MIGA). Duplicate applications will not be reviewed and will not increase one’s chances of selection.
Does this mean that one should not apply to more than one institution?
You have to select your top choice, only one institution. You can only send ONE application to be considered for all 3 institutions.
If you apply in June you will be considered for all 3 institutions, if you apply in august only for IFC and MIGA.
If you apply multiple times, your application will not be considered.

Thanks but I recall that last year (I applied) candidates who applied in June had the possibility to select 1, 2 or 3 institutions. You were not automatically considered for the 3 institutions if you applied in June but you needed to select the 3 boxes corresponding to the three institutions to be considered for all of them. Is that still possible this year? To select more than one institution if you apply in June? And yes I am aware of the fact that if one applies in June, he cannot re-apply in September.

Do you guys think the process will be delayed this year as well? This is my last year as eligible for the program.
WBG is not exactly a structure known for expediency, even in the good old pre-Covid days, so the answer is probably 'yes'.
Also my last chance to apply, so will try putting some effort into my attempt this time after failing to qualify for the interview stage last year. At least the IFC, which I'm aiming for, seems to be faster when it comes to the selection process.
