Not sure how to do this without sharing personal information on this forum...I asked Fanta if she could put us in touch, but she said no because of privacy concerns. WhatsApp would be the best way for me.

Thanks to Ecnomist for answering my question from an earlier post. I appreciate the encouragement for interested applicants. I am also wondering if those of you who have ben accepted in the YPP may have tips or suggestions for applicants for the 2020 cycle. I am excited for the application cycle to open in June, and I would love to hear about your experience applying, and any feedback from those who are in this thread. Thanks!

cohort 2020! whats gonna happen..we are almost in sept and covid cases are still rising in USA. is your commencement date going to be pushed back. will this affect the apps for 2021 ypp

Hi! The only tip I can give you (2020 successful applicant here) is to work with My Career My Impact.com Its a team of former yp and world bank staff and they trained and helped me through the entire process....

not really necessary. its an interview like any other interview. you have a panel and each will ask questions and you have a group assessment. no need to spend money you don't have on this or spend money you don't need to spend. sssssshhhhh. just be confident. talk about what you know and respond to questions asked, if you don't know the answer to a technical question give it your best short. they are over 7000 applicants and unfortunately they have to pick about 50 or less. it doesn't mean u are less qualified if you are not picked. they are other jobs out there as exciting or even more and that pay just as much. if u get this then great...if u don't...u will get something great elsewhere. your world/life doesn't stop on rejection and it doesn't start on acceptance.
