   Easy for you to say "just be confident". I failed the process twice before getting in, and I found it very difficult. Maybe I was not confident enough the first time, but I really found that I was not controlling the steps of the interview. And it spiraled out quickly in a tough interrogation...

   I don't think that giving the best shot is enough - that's why I was not selected the first time around. The year I got in, my interview went so well. I prepared it so well that I was in full control of the questions. And same thing for the group assessment. There is a specific training to it I believe. A total different story.

   But at the end I agree, this is not the end of the world if one does not get in!

   No training needed. and no extra money should be spent on an interview. I say just be confident cause that worked for me. I advice everyone else whose applied for 2021 to not waste money. To build confidence...practice. the questions asked are behavioural and technical - know your field. also have smart questions to ask interviews (LIKE ANY OTHER INTERVIEW) when they say do you have something to ask us.

   Then remember this...there are 7000+ applicants each with at least one Masters degree, so guess what, you are already in a smart pile of people and all you can do is give it your best shot cause unfortunately they can't pick everyone - thats the reality. YOUR LIFE WILL STILL WORK OUT. If you don't make it via YPP, make it in another way or go to another fine institution and live your life!!!

   Ps, I have friends who didn't make it and they have great jobs/lives

   I disagree. YP 2018 here. Investing in yourself is never for nothing. You improve your skills and it helps you in several dimensions of your personal growth and career. I also use this same coaching program mentioned and I think it made the difference. We are all smart, and with great educational background, the difference is in the PREPARATION!

   I disagree. YP 2018 here. Investing in yourself is never for nothing. You improve your skills and it helps you in several dimensions of your personal growth and career. I also use this same coaching program mentioned and I think it made the difference. We are all smart, and with great educational background, the difference is in the PREPARATION!

   STOP scamming desperate applicants to come to your company for training. These trainers are clueless as the interview and processes change.

   Haha! You really think they change the content of the personal interview and assessment center every year? For the assessment centers they have 4 binders of project case that they rotate over the years, haha!
