Ho guys! What are the chances of lending a senior position at the bank, if I am 7 years of experience (for senior position the bank requires 8 yrs) plus actual experience they require for the job? Thanks in advance.
Post I found it almost laughable that after 14 months, the WB could not even have the courtesy to send emails to candidates that address them by name. Rather they just sent a faceless blind copied email, devoid of any humanity and devoid of any emotion or apology for the disastrous recruitment cycle that just happened. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever that the whole recruitment cycle was an example of how not to treat prospective employees! It was also hilarious that they told the candidates to reapply if eligible, well knowing that the applications closed a while ago. If a candidate went through the process and passed the interview and no offer was made, one wonders why that candidate would go through that process again with the same skill set that the WB VPs may still not need post interview. The post interview stage is quite hazy that it may be hard for candidates to decide if they want to go through that again. Overall, the WB could have done better with the recruitment cycle. Yes there was a pandemic in question but the pandemic not only applied to the WB. Other companies were still able to conduct recruitments in a dignifying manner and with respect to potential applicants. Nevertheless, the WB is still a fantastic place to work and this should not discourage anyone who has a passion for development and wants to have a career at the WB because it is actually an amazing place to work.
