Just can't understand why you feel the need to post this kind of shjt in an economics forum.    All these people do is look for confirmation bias and rationalization of their failures. Nothing is their fault and women bad. It's hilarious but sad as well.

   Nah, you never forget the p0/0sy you've railed. I mean, maybe Wilt Chamberlain did, but for guys with normal notch counts--no.

   I slept with around 30 women, and most of them I have to really concentrate to remember. I barely remember my first time. I remember being surprised that it was as good as it was, but I don't remember what it was like.

   Even my longer term relationships I don't really remember what they were like. After about a decade with my wife, and after we had kids, the idea that any of them were in any way comparable is absurd. If you're only together for a few years you are only play-acting being in a relationship. Once you are together for a long time, you know your wife better than anyone else ever has or will and vice versa, better than their parents, than their siblings, than their exes. No other relationship comes close.

   A marriage is a partnership. It's sharing a life, and experiencing hardship, and working together to raise children. It's not the kind of romantic soulfire people experience when they fall in love; it's both more boring and more powerful. You really just have no idea how special it is until you've done it.

   The person I think of from my youth as the "love of my life" was beautiful, insane and passionate, and I still can't think of them without feeling a bit of twinge. We were so addicted to each other for a time there was nothing else in my life. It was beautiful and strange and terrifying all at once.

   That's not the kind of love to build a marriage and a family on. It inevitably flares out and dies. If you want a to have stable family life (and it's really ok not to), just go for someone kind. Someone who makes you laugh, and will always have your back. If you're going to spend decades with a person, it's important that you can be with them all the time.

   Yes, being a "man" is to know your place and not make any trouble for your betters. How convenient. Again, all you have is meaningless platitudes and slurs. Well I can make things up too: I say "what it means to be a man" is to do what you want and take what you want. You can probably count on most men being stvpid enough to fall for your self-serving definition, but at the rate things are going, you might lose that smirk real quick.

    You are exactly the woman problem OP has. I'd counter it is possible, and even common, for one partner to play both the roles you describe here. It didn't work out that way for you.

    People are mad in this thread because the average male level has fallen over the past generation, and they are faced with accepting a f/atty or getting nothing. You can spin love, etc. into this, but markets are markets.

    You can’t idealize your way into grad school or a great job if you are unqualified or incompetent. Just look at Karl. Marriage is no different m.
